| A telephone interviewer will phone some respondent with a request to conduct a phone-based interview. If the respondent agrees to the interview, then he or she will be required to answer a number of questions, with the interviewer capturing the responses directly into a computer program. |
| Marketing Mayhem’s system is web-based, with the questions to be asked to the respondent clearly visible on the screen at any point in time. The interviewer reads out the question appearing on the computer screen, and then records the response accordingly by clicking or typing the appropriate answer on the screen. The system automatically displays the next question according to the complex path-flow which has previously been specified during the design stage. |
